Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:

I am fascinated by the science of medicine and cannot imagine having a career in any other field.

What I want my patients to know about me:

I believe that each of us has more control over our health and wellness than we think. I feel that one of my roles as a nurse practitioner is to empower each of my patients to better care for themselves.

What I do when I'm not seeing patients:

When I am not working, I am spending time with my children and dogs. I am traveling as much as time and money allow, as well as enjoying movies and plays. I also enjoy volunteering with my church congregation.
