The surgeons at each of WellSpan’s seven hospitals and four outpatient surgery centers are highly skilled in a variety of inpatient and outpatient procedures, including general surgery, minimally-invasive laparoscopic surgery and robotic surgery. Equipped with the latest in medical technology, these experienced surgeons, along with the highly skilled team of nurses and staff, focus on getting you back to health as quickly as possible. Many major surgeries that once required large incisions and lengthy hospital stays can now be performed as outpatient procedures, through small incisions. With significantly reduced pain and recovery times, patients can often return home after staying less than 24 hours in our observation unit.
