How is the number of patients waiting calculated?

The number of patients waiting represents patients that have checked in at the urgent care facility, but have not yet seen a provider. It is both patients in the waiting area and patients in a treatment room that have not yet started their visit.

Values can be influenced by many factors and should be considered estimates only.

At WellSpan Surgical Specialists, we diagnose, evaluate and treat a broad range of conditions, including hernias, gallbladder disease, breast tumors, colon tumors and conditions affecting the abdomen and thyroid. Most surgeries can be performed using minimally invasive techniques, such as laparoscopy and robotic-assisted surgery in an outpatient setting or a brief stay at WellSpan York Hospital.

As part of our ongoing goal to make WellSpan services easier to access and use, we will coordinate your care through MyWellSpan, our secure online tool. These nodes could result in an unnecessary (false positive) finding. For that reason, we recommend you avoid having your screening mammogram any time from 1 day prior to your first vaccination to 4 weeks past your second vaccination.
