How is the number of patients waiting calculated?

The number of patients waiting represents patients that have checked in at the urgent care facility, but have not yet seen a provider. It is both patients in the waiting area and patients in a treatment room that have not yet started their visit.

Values can be influenced by many factors and should be considered estimates only.

The WellSpan Surgery Center is a multi-specialty ambulatory surgery center, with same day services in endoscopy, ophthalmology, podiatry, children's dentistry and vein procedures.

The surgical team is dedicated to the patient experience with its main focus on patient outcomes and patient satisfaction. The entire surgical team strives to exceed patient expectations by providing the highest quality of individualized perioperative care. The entire RN staff is certified in ACLS. WellSpan Surgery Center is recognized by the ASGE as a quality Endoscopy Unit, this recognition honors endoscopy centers that demonstrated a commitment to patient safety and quality in endoscopy procedures.
