Exercise writing services
At Results Fitness we offer everyone an exercise program designed specially for you. We write the program, and walk you through it to assure proper form and understanding of the exercises. Our programs are customized to your goals: injury/surgery recovery, training for a sport or fitness goal, or simply, learning new exercises to increase health and quality of life.
- Speed and agility: This program is designed to help improve movement mechanics for all levels of athletes, from elite collegiate athletes to young children who are just starting their athletic careers. This class not only teaches proper starting, stopping, and change of direction mechanics to increase an athlete's speed and agility, but also has a strong focus on injury prevention.
- Balance and fall prevention: Did you know that falls are the number one cause of injury–related deaths among the elderly? This class was designed to help you enjoy a safer and more active lifestyle. In a scientific-based study, those who participated in the balance and fall prevention program, were able to walk faster, move with more control, and perform more powerful muscle actions compared to a control group. The balance and fall prevention program covers proper movement mechanics, low intensity power movements, body weight strength exercises (including core), stationary balance and movement-based balance. The course was designed by Doug Lentz, director of Results Fitness and Dr. Sally Paulson of Shippensburg University.
Personal training at WellSpan Results Fitness is a good option for individuals who need that extra "push" or "jump start" to get them going. Dartfish (video-based movement screening/injury prevention)
ACL injury prevention and evaluation program. We make use of an algorithm to assess the likelihood of high loads put on the knee during jumping and landing. This information is then used to design a training program to correct improper form.
