How is the number of patients waiting calculated?

The number of patients waiting represents patients that have checked in at the urgent care facility, but have not yet seen a provider. It is both patients in the waiting area and patients in a treatment room that have not yet started their visit.

Values can be influenced by many factors and should be considered estimates only.

WellSpan Radiation Oncology in Chambersburg, coordinates radiation therapy treatments for patients diagnosed with most types of cancer, including breast cancer, lung cancer prostate cancer, skin cancer, brain tumors and other forms. Our team meets the multidisciplinary needs of patients by coordinating treatment plans with other oncology specialists (e.g., medical, gynecologic and surgical), as well as clinicians and staff in support services.

As part of our ongoing goal to make WellSpan services easier to access and use, we will coordinate your care through MyWellSpan, our secure online tool. These nodes could result in an unnecessary (false positive) finding. For that reason, we recommend you avoid having your screening mammogram any time from 1 day prior to your first vaccination to 4 weeks past your second vaccination.
