How is the number of patients waiting calculated?

The number of patients waiting represents patients that have checked in at the urgent care facility, but have not yet seen a provider. It is both patients in the waiting area and patients in a treatment room that have not yet started their visit.

Values can be influenced by many factors and should be considered estimates only.

On March 4, 2019, WellSpan opened a new, state-of-the-art health care facility designed to make it easier for Hanover area residents to get the care they need, close to home.

The 80,000-square-foot facility is among the largest and most technologically advanced outpatient surgery centers in the central Pennsylvania region.
