Dining & Vending Options
Cafeteria
Visitors and employees at WellSpan Ephrata Community Hospital may purchase meals, beverages and snacks in our cafeteria, which is located on the first floor of the hospital. Breakfast, lunch and dinner specials are featured on a board outside the entrance of the cafeteria.
Hours of Operation: 6:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily
- Breakfast: 6:30 to 10 a.m.
- Lunch: 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
- Dinner: 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.
- Soup & Salad Bar, Deli and Grill: 11:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
We accept cash and credit cards. You can find an ATM machine near the E-Care waiting room, located on the first floor of the hospital.
Javateas
Javateas is located in the lobby of the Ephrata Health Pavilion. Open weekdays from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m., the shop features coffee, beverages, teas and pastries for the convenience of patients, visitors and staff members.
We accept cash and credit cards. You can find an ATM machine near the E-Care waiting room, located on the first floor of the hospital.
Vending Machines
Vending machines are available 24 hours a day and are located near the Emergency Department waiting area and the entrance to the Family Maternity Unit. We offer a variety of hot and cold beverages, snacks and sandwiches.

Remember: If you are coming to the hospital for a procedure, please check with your nurse before eating or drinking.
Gift Shops
WellSpan Ephrata Community Hospital has two gift shops that feature a fine selection of cards, gifts and magazines. One is located in the main lobby, while the other can be found in the lobby of the Ephrata Health Pavilion adjacent to the hospital. Volunteer operate both shops.
Hours of Operation:
- Monday through Friday: 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- Saturday & Sunday: 1 to 5 p.m.
- All hours are based upon availability of staffing.
WellSpan Ephrata Community Hospital has partnered with Royer’s Flowers to create a convenient online ordering system for families and friends who would like to send flowers to patients at our hospital. Select the flower arrangement, plant or gift in our customized store, and Royer’s will deliver your order directly to the hospital.
Wireless Internet
Complementary wireless internet service (also known as WiFi) is available in patient rooms and in many areas throughout the hospital. Please note that for safety reasons laptop computers should not be used within two feet of electronic patient care equipment.
TV & Telephone Services
Remote-controlled color television is provided in every patient room as a free service. We offer access to local channels and many of your favorite cable channels. For your convenience, every patient room also has a telephone that may be used for local calls.
Places to Wait Rest & Reflect
A meditation room (chapel) is located on the first floor and is open for patients, visitors and staff.
Pastoral Care Services
Pastoral Care at WellSpan Ephrata Community Hospital is available at all times. The hospital staff chaplain is in-house Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Additionally, chaplains are available for emergencies at night and on the weekends. A meditation room (chapel) is located on the first floor and is open for patients, visitors and staff.
Interpreter Services
WellSpan Ephrata Community Hospital maintains a current list of interpreters to ensure communications with those patients who do not speak English or understand the English language.
