WellSpan receives Jared Boxes, packed with fun stuff for kids in the hospital

Thanks to the Jared Box Project and its generous donors for supplying fun stuff for kids in WellSpan hospitals! WellSpan Good Samaritan and Ephrata Community hospitals' emergency departments recently received a batch of Jared Boxes – small containers filled with books, gifts, and fun activities for children – from the organization. "Our teams are so grateful and can't wait to share these wonderful boxes with children in our care," said Kelly DiCiano, WellSpan regional director of volunteer engagement. Established in memory of a child who had cancer, the Project has delivered almost a million Jared Boxes, assembled and donated by community groups, scout troops, schools, churches, and others, to more than 400 hospitals across the country.
