WellSpan Health hospitals have once again been honored for exemplary patient experience by Press Ganey, a leader in healthcare experience solutions and services. WellSpan Gettysburg Hospital, WellSpan Surgery and Rehabilitation Hospital and WellSpan Waynesboro Hospital have each been named a 2022 Human Experience (HX) Guardian of Excellence Award winner. In addition, WellSpan Surgery and Rehabilitation Hospital achieved the 2022 Human Experience (HX) Pinnacle of Excellence Award, which highlights consistently high marks in patient experience over several years.

WellSpan Surgery and Rehabilitation Hospital, WellSpan Gettysburg Hospital, and WellSpan Waynesboro Hospital all received the Press Ganey HX Guardian of Excellence Award, recognizing them as being in the top 5% of healthcare providers in delivering patient experience in the last year.
As a recipient of the Press Ganey HX Pinnacle of Excellence Award, WellSpan Surgery and Rehabilitation Hospital has ranked in the top 5% of healthcare providers in delivering patient experience over a minimum of three consecutive years. This is the sixth year in a row that WellSpan Surgery and Rehabilitation Hospital has received this honor.

These awards are part of Press Ganey’s annual ranking of the top hospitals and health systems in the country, according to performance in patient experience.
