In an effort to expand health care services in York County, WellSpan Health cut the ribbon on the new location for WellSpan Family Medicine – Thomas Hart and WellSpan Dental – Hoodner in an expanded space at the Queensgate Shopping Center in York. Both practices will open the doors of their new location to patients on Monday, March 6.
“These are residency programs, committed to the excellent education of future physicians and dentists,” said Vicky Diamond, senior vice president of WellSpan’s Central Region and president of WellSpan York Hospital. “Both practices are also examples of WellSpan’s mission to improve access to quality health care services to everyone in South Central Pennsylvania.”
WellSpan Family Medicine – Thomas Hart and WellSpan Dental – Hoodner are now located at 2003 Springwood Road, York, PA 17403.
WellSpan invested roughly $10 million into the new space that encompasses 30,935 square feet. The new WellSpan Family Medicine – Thomas Hart location includes 30 exam rooms and three treatment rooms, while the new WellSpan Dental – Hoodner space includes 22 operatories and two treatment rooms.
“WellSpan is devoted to expanding health care, including oral care, to the citizens of South Central Pennsylvania,” said Dr. Craig Pate, program director, WellSpan Health Dental Program. “There is a strong connection between oral health and overall wellbeing, and everyone deserves the opportunity to access affordable dental care. We are excited to begin seeing patients here on Monday.”
