Ushering in 2022 with new beginnings at WellSpan York Hospital

2022 is off to a sweet start as we welcome the first babies of the new year at our hospitals. Baby Willow arrived at 1:32 a.m. at WellSpan York Hospital making her the first baby of 2022 across the WellSpan Health system. The baby girl measured 19.5 inches and 7 pounds, 2 ounces. Both mom and baby are doing well and resting on the first day of the new year.

Other WellSpan babies celebrating a birthday include:

WellSpan Chambersburg Hospital had its first delivery at 3:34 a.m. Baby Jericho weighed 7 pounds, 10 ounces and measured 20.5 inches.

WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital had its first delivery at 9:57 a.m. on January 2. Baby Sophia weighed 6 pounds 4.5 ounces and measured 18.5 inches.

WellSpan Ephrata Community Hospital had its first delivery at 2:42 p.m. on January 3. Baby Lisa weighed 7 pounds 1.9 ounces and measured 20.08 inches.
