Connect with Your Provider
Have a question about a recent visit or test result, or wondering if you need to come in for care? Send your care team a quick message in MyWellSpan.
If you have a non-urgent medical question, you can send a message to any WellSpan provider that you have an established relationship with. This means that you had a visit in the recent past or an upcoming visit. If you have not been seen by your speciality provider within one year, you will need to contact your office by phone. If you have not been seen by another primary care provider within the past seven years, you will need to contact your office by phone. You can always secure message your PCP regardless of how long it has been since you had an appointment.
While we will make every effort to review your message in a timely manner, it may take up to two business days to answer a message sent through MyWellSpan. Secure messaging should not be used for questions requiring an urgent or immediate response.
Who Sees It
Like a telephone call to the office, secure messages will be directed first to, and viewable by, staff team members within your doctor's office. Staff from the office may also be responding to your secure message.
Part of the Health Record
Messages sent via MyWellSpan become part of the electronic health record. Therefore, only messages related to your own health care should be sent via MyWellSpan. If you need to send a message regarding a child or spouse, you will need set up proxy access to the other person and then send the message.
