As one of the largest regional health systems in southcentral Pennsylvania, WellSpan Health is happy to work with media partners, but must also protect our patient’s right to privacy. All media inquiries of WellSpan Health staff must go through the WellSpan Communications Department. This includes interview and patient condition requests.

Interview & Patient Condition Requests
WellSpan Communications team members will work to make available our physicians, advanced practice providers and other subject matter experts, when feasible, to assist with timely production of topical stories. We are also able to supply members of the media the condition of a patient if that individual has chosen to be listed in our facility directory.
Any member of the media must be accompanied by a member of the WellSpan Communications team, or designated staff member, when on WellSpan Health property at all times. Any member of the media on WellSpan Health property unannounced will be asked to leave immediate to protect the privacy of our patients.
Media Live Shots
Members of the media looking to conduct live shots at WellSpan Health sites will be required to do so off WellSpan Health property to protect the privacy of our patients. WellSpan Health Communications team members can provide a listing of public property locations that provide a safe alternative to live shots on WellSpan Health property.
