Steve Thomas, PharmD, is the Regional Director of Pharmacy Services for WellSpan Health’s east region, serving Lancaster and Lebanon Counties. In his role, Dr. Thomas has oversight of clinical initiatives, operations, regulatory compliance and finances at the WellSpan pharmacies at Ephrata Community Hospital, Good Samaritan Hospital, Philhaven Behavioral Health Hospital, Ephrata Cancer Center and the Sechler Family Cancer Center.
His areas of focus include medication formulary and utilization compliance, professional development and coaching, lean management strategies, and standardization of best practices.
Dr. Thomas received his doctoral degree from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia, and he served as a clinical pharmacist for 12 years before transitioning to a leadership role.
