Description:
Understanding Birth curriculum provides childbirth education that prepares parents for their birth experience. This includes video, life-like 3D animation and personal birth stories that will give parents the knowledge and confidence they need to make informed decisions about their labor and delivery. Content includes labor, medical procedures, cesarean section and postpartum information.
Class will be available for nine months after registration date and will take approximately 4-6 hours to complete from the comfort of your own home.
Online childbirth classes are now available in English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Arabic, Japanese and Chinese.

This is not a Zoom class. You can log on and complete your class when it works best for you and your schedule. Please allow 3 to 5 business days to receive finalized registration information. The Understand Birth online class is fully covered by all Medical Assistance insurances including AmeriHealth Caritas, GHP Family, Health Partners, HealthyCare Card, Highmark Wholecare (Gateway), PA Medicaid/Access, UPMC for You and WellSpan Financial Assistance Program.
