This five-hour, condensed-format class provides information on the stages of labor, anesthesia, cesarean sections, labor interventions and comfort measures. Relaxation and breathing techniques will be covered briefly. This class is offered once monthly on a weekend. Baby Care and Breastfeeding classes are NOT included; however, they can be taken separately. We recommend registering for this class during or after your fifth month of pregnancy. 

The Condensed Childbirth Class is fully covered by all Medical Assistance insurances including AmeriHealth Caritas, GHP Family, Health Partners, HealthyCare Card, Highmark Wholecare (Gateway), PA Medicaid/Access, UPMC for You and WellSpan Financial Assistance Program.

Please allow 3-5 business days to receive finalized registration information. To maximize the health and safety of our patients and staff from the spread of COVID-19, each person must wear a mask that covers their nose and mouth (surgical or cloth masks required: no other face coverings are permitted), at all times, in our facility. We have also set up our classrooms and limited the number attending the classes to encourage social distancing. If you are experiencing symptoms related to COVID-19 (fever, cough, shortness of breath) or have come in contact with someone that has tested positive, please contact our office to reschedule. Half an hour will be provided for lunch. We ask that there is no eating in the classroom.

Cancellation Policy:

Cancellation more than more week prior to start of class: Full refund. Less than one week prior to start of class: Full refund less $15 processing fee. After first class date: 75% of fee. No refunds after second class date.
