WellSpan Health announced its appointment, effective today, of Jatin Motiwal as senior vice president for WellSpan’s central region encompassing most of York County. Motiwal joins WellSpan with extensive experience in health care leadership, bringing a strong commitment to patient-centered care and operational excellence.
In his new role, Motiwal will oversee strategic initiatives, operations and community engagement across WellSpan’s central region hospitals and facilities, supporting the organization’s mission to deliver exceptional care and improve health outcomes for all.
“We are excited to welcome Jatin to our leadership team. His proven track record in health care management and his passion for innovation align perfectly with WellSpan’s vision,” said Kasey Paulus, executive vice president and chief operating officer at WellSpan Health. “We look forward to his leadership as we continue to advance care for our patients and communities.”
Prior to joining WellSpan, Motiwal held senior executive leadership roles at several large, integrated health systems, including Rochester Regional Health, Providence Health & Services, Geisinger and Bayfront Health System. Across these organizations, he led complex clinical networks, physician enterprises and service lines spanning acute, ambulatory and value-based care models. His experience driving clinical integration, expanding patient access, strengthening physician alignment and improving quality and financial performance across multi-hospital systems positions him well to advance WellSpan’s strategic priorities in its central region.
“I’m honored to join WellSpan Health and excited to serve the communities that rely on the health system day in and day out,” said Motiwal. “Throughout my career, I’ve focused on building integrated, high-performing teams that improve access, quality and outcomes for patients. WellSpan’s mission and commitment to community health strongly align with my own values, and I look forward to working alongside physicians, leaders, and team members to continue advancing care for the people we serve.”
