As our Apple Hill campus vision continues to take shape to best serve our patients in York County, we’re implementing two coordinated traffic changes in the coming weeks.
On Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2026, we anticipate that our new westside entrance opens. The current entrance just south of the new entrance will close on the same date, ending through traffic on Monument Road. The current eastside entrance via Monument Road will remain open, but only for those who are working on or visiting the campus. Through traffic must use an alternative route starting on Feb. 3.
On Thursday, Jan. 22, 2026, a new traffic signal and southbound right turn lane will be fully activated at the far southern intersection adjacent to the campus.
Some temperature-dependent paving work will finish in the spring, but opening the entrance, signal, and turn lane now provides immediate benefits.
These improvements are part of the campus redevelopment plan and meet PennDOT/township safety requirements identified through a traffic study, and are designed to enhance safety and traffic flow for everyone who works and receives care on WellSpan’s Apple Hill Health Campus.
