Winter STREAK kicks off Jan. 5

Jane Powers Winter STREAK Testimonial

Winter STREAK kicks off in two short weeks. Are you ready to tackle 2026 with your health and well-being a key priority? WellSpan Winter STREAK can help.

The free, virtual twelve-week program runs from Jan. 5 to March 27 and is open to everyone. Focused on helping participants increase physical activity, eat healthier and improve overall well-being, the program offers the support needed in the cold winter months to stay on track.

York local, Jane Powers, has been an annual participant in Winter STREAK since the program originally launched. Jane’s experience with Winter STREAK helped her create a sustainable pattern of health and wellness habits, contributing to an overall weight loss of around 250 pounds.

“Thanks to Winter STREAK, I was able to complete my weight loss goals. I am now 20 lbs. from my goal weight. I credit this program with keeping me honest and getting me through the holidays without any added weight. The key for me was reducing my total refined sugar and processed foods intake. By reducing both of these by 95%, I was able to attain a goal that I have struggled with for 21 years. So thankful for this program,” shared Jane, when asked about her experience with Winter STREAK.

The outcome of Jane’s work? She’s lowered her A1C, has noticeable improvements in her bloodwork and has less back pain that was caused by arthritis but amplified by her weight.

The frequent traveler and gardener shared that eating fresh foods and taking care of her body has not only resulted in improved physical well-being, but that her mind is clearer, and she feels like a fog has lifted from her thoughts.

“I’m 68 years old with a back problem. If I can do it, anyone can do it,” Jane shared with a smile.

You can join the program at any time during the twelve-week period. The goal is to complete a STREAK of activities to support your health and well-being. When you string together daily, consistent habits over time, you’ll be eligible to win prizes.
