WellSpan Health is proud to announce that eight of its hospitals have been honored with the Partner for Change Award as part of the 2025 Practice Greenhealth Environmental Excellence Awards. This recognition highlights WellSpan's long-term commitment to securing a greener environment for its patients and communities.

The hospitals recognized include:

• WellSpan Chambersburg Hospital
• WellSpan Ephrata Community Hospital
• WellSpan Gettysburg Hospital
• WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital
• WellSpan Philhaven Hospital
• WellSpan Surgery and Rehabilitation Hospital
• WellSpan Waynesboro Hospital
• WellSpan York Hospital

These hospitals were selected for demonstrating outstanding progress in areas such as waste reduction, local food purchasing, greening operating rooms, and sustainable procurement. In 2024, WellSpan recycled 338 tons of materials, added five hybrid vehicles, and purchased an average of 19% of its food from local vendors across the organization.

WellSpan's achievement of the Partner for Change Award reflects the organization's dedication to creating a greener future for healthcare.
