As WellSpan Health continues to expand access to high-quality care for its patients in Lancaster County, a new WellSpan Endoscopy Center is now open in Ephrata, improving the community’s access to advanced procedures and digestive healthcare.
The new outpatient facility, located at 4150 Barrett Blvd. in Ephrata, will make procedures, such as colorectal screenings and endoscopies, more convenient for patients using leading technologies in a state-of-the-art location. The center is also the new location of the WellSpan Digestive Health physician practice.
“Our strategy in developing a high-quality, value-based care model at WellSpan is focused on providing services in outpatient settings that will both improve quality outcomes and lower costs for our patients,” said James Stuccio, senior vice president of WellSpan Health’s East Region. “With the opening of the WellSpan Endoscopy Center, we’ll be able to treat patients where they are, by providing a level of convenience that will be matched by a strong patient experience in a patient-friendly and welcoming environment.”

The center features a spacious waiting area, private patient areas, and procedure rooms that are equipped with up-to-date endoscopic equipment and specially trained staff. All with the goal of offering patients convenient care for digestive health needs.
