WellSpan Health is a collaborator and leader in Aligning Forces for Quality (AF4Q). This south central Pennsylvania collaborative is one of 17 across the United States funded by the prestigious Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. Through this effort, area community leaders, consumers, physicians, nurses, employers and insurers have come together to help improve health care quality in our community. An important value of WellSpan's and an important initiative of AF4Q is sharing the quality of the health care we provide. This is an important element of our efforts to continually improve.
The AF4Q Quality Check Up provides a quality snapshot of the care provided at York and Adams counties' five hospitals—three of which are WellSpan York Hospital, WellSpan Surgery & Rehabilitation Hospital and WellSpan Gettysburg Hospital—and from more than 50 local health care practices—many of whom are affiliated with WellSpan as well.
