Inspiring Health Podcast

Through the WellSpan Community Health Fund and Summit Endowment, WellSpan partnered with more than 50 nonprofit community organizations and provided $1.5 million in community grants to drive achievement of our Community Health Improvement Plan by increasing access to care and creating innovative approaches to impact social determinants of health.

Highlights include:

  • Invested in eight organizations who are committed to improving mental well-being for children and adults through messaging, training, peer support, and improved access to treatment.
  • Supported over 10 partners with shared commitment to improving children's health and well-being by investing in five programs closely linked to our newly launched Spotlight on Children’s Health.
  • Continued to tackle food insecurity in a significant way with new projects reaching targeted populations and ongoing projects designed to create systems change over multiple years.
  • Awarded urgent grants to organizations serving the growing homeless population and invested in others who are committed to their vision of stable housing for all.
  • Funded programs to advance all Community Health Improvement Priorities knowing many neighbors’ challenges are not limited to one area.
