Event Image

Are you grieving the death of a loved one? Has it been four or more months since the loss of your loved one? This 12-week group will help you learn self-care and coping skills for your grief and find support through processing with others who are grieving. Group sessions will focus on:

  • Processing the death of your loved one
  • The story of your loved one
  • Emotions related to grief, grief monitoring, and self-care skills
  • How to access support from loved ones and supportive others

Group members must be at least four months out from the death of loved one and have the ability to communicate effectively in a virtual group format. Group participants cannot have active psychosis, active addiction, or active SI/HI symptoms.

Current Philhaven patients should talk to their provider. For new Philhaven patients, please call (717) 851-1375 or (800) 459-7497.

Minimum Age: 18

This group meets for 12 weeks on Fridays from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm with group leader Ashlee Pohl, LCSW. While all efforts will be made to assist you in entering a group as quickly as possible, you may need to be temporarily added to a waitlist.
