Driven by a shared commitment to student well-being, WellSpan Health and York College of Pennsylvania are partnering to establish the WellSpan Student Health at York College expanding onsite clinical care and behavioral health support services.

As a trusted healthcare partner, we’re proud to bring expanded, on-campus access to care – delivering early intervention, streamlined connections to additional care when needed and innovative efforts that foster a healthier, more resilient campus community,” said Victoria Diamond, senior vice president for the central region of WellSpan Health.

Beginning July 1, WellSpan Student Health at York College will provide clinical services by WellSpan nurse practitioners and other skilled nurses to all full-time and part-time York College students. The health center will operate Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. within the Iosue Student Union in room 116. Clinical services will be available by walk-in availability, scheduled appointments or virtual options. Beginning August 1, WellSpan team members will also offer behavioral health services onsite by appointment. 

"Student well-being is central to student success," said York College President Thomas Burns, Ph.D. "Partnering with WellSpan ensures our students receive high-quality, holistic care right here on campus. We’re excited about what this means for both their physical and mental health support during their time at York."

Onsite care will focus on primary and preventative care such as the treatment for minor illnesses and injuries, management of stable chronic conditions, immunizations, lab services and more. In addition, the health center team will host workshops on topics like nutrition, stress management and preventive health to support student well-being.

This partnership is made possible through WellSpan’s Well at Work program, which delivers healthcare solutions designed to improve health outcomes, enhance access to care and reduce costs for employers across the WellSpan service area.
