Another phase of expansion-related changes to traffic flow, as well as changes to building entry and exit points, is planned that will affect multiple areas of York Hospital’s campus in the coming weeks.
Changes will take effect starting in mid-July and carry through September. Please review the following details now so you can be ready to adjust your driving patterns and building entry/exit routines.
The first significant change will occur on Monday, July 17 when the South Drive entrance on Irving Road will close to all traffic except ambulances and Emergency Department patients. Additionally, there will be no parking available along Irving Road. Construction fencing will extend into Irving Road for construction of the Surgical and Critical Care Tower and will remain in place until the completion of the project. The construction fencing also limited ease of access to the hospital from Irving Road. For the safety of all pedestrians, there will be no parking on Irving Road – even beyond the end points of the construction fencing.
Additional details will be shared in coming weeks as additional changes to traffic flow and entrances occur. Thank you in advance for your patience and for accommodating these changes.
