On Monday, Nov. 20, the sidewalk adjacent to the Emergency Department drop-off circle will no longer be accessible to visitors and staff. A new protected pathway along the west side (South George Street side) of the ED drop-off circle will open to divert pedestrian foot traffic to the ED and away from the surgical and critical care tower construction site.

Additionally, please remember that access to the ED via Irving Road is now indefinitely closed to all traffic, including ambulance traffic. South George Street now serves as the entrance for all ED traffic.

For your safety and the safety of construction crews, please always use caution when walking near the construction site.
