Evangelical Community Hospital has a long history of serving the people of our community. It’s always been a place of giving and caring. I’ve been with the hospital for 25 years and have seen firsthand how our focus has always been on the people. And we’re committed to continuing this legacy and being here for good.
Joining WellSpan Health has brought exciting changes. Patients can now benefit from advanced services like inpatient kidney dialysis, and a new da Vinci surgical robot, allowing our doctors to perform complex, minimally invasive surgeries with even greater precision. Services coming soon include interventional radiology and electrophysiology. These advancements mean that our community doesn’t have to travel far to get the care they need.
But it’s not just about the technology. Both WellSpan and Evangelical Community Hospital have always focused on providing outstanding patient care. That’s why we’re both a great fit. The same caring team members who have been here for generations are still here, and they’re just as dedicated as ever.

For almost 100 years, Evangelical Community Hospital has worked closely with local organizations to help people find stable housing and access fresh food. We partnered with the local housing authority to create income-based senior housing and with Dreamcatcher Farms to bring fresh produce to the community. We’re committed to the well-being of everyone in our community, not just their physical health.
