Dr. Michael Bohrn is serving as the Associate Dean for the WellSpan Campus. With over 20 years of experience in undergraduate medical education, graduate medical education, continuing medical education, and research, Dr. Bohrn is well-positioned to help start our WellSpan Campus, and lead the program into the future.
Dr. Bohrn has been a member of the USMLE Step 3 Exam CCS Committee at the National Board of Medical Examiners, and has a long history of educational administration – from serving as a Clerkship Site Director for Emergency Medicine student rotations, to serving as an Emergency Medicine Residency Program Director and Associate Program Director, to helping lead our Continuing Medical Education (CME) program. He is currently serving as the Associate Dean for the Drexel University College of Medicine Regional Clinical Campus until 2027.
David Emrhein, MA, MEd

Mr. David Emrhein is serving as the inaugural Assistant Dean-Education for the WellSpan Campus. His medical education career spans over 25 years, and he has been the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) Designated Institutional Official (DIO) at WellSpan Health for the entire history of this role.
Mr. Emrhein is an exceptional educator and has additional training and expertise in Bioethics, serving as one of three Bioethics Consultants for physicians, providers, and staff in the WellSpan Health system. He leads efforts related to the administrative portions of our medical education enterprise and is specifically focused on providing a supportive student learning environment via leadership and support of our Residency and Fellowship Programs at WellSpan.
