Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:
I had thought about a career in medicine since I was a kid. However, I was not certain about my career path until my father had a hemorrhagic stroke when I was in college. Experiencing devastating illness and the lasting effects made me certain that I wanted to be a doctor. It is from this experience that I developed a special in interest in neurologic disease and specifically, stroke imaging.
What I want my patients to know about me:
Although I practice general radiology at WellSpan, I am subspecialized in neuroradiology. Before joining WellSpan in 2017, I was an academic neuroradiologist for nearly 10 years. I practice all aspects of neuroradiology with special interests in the imaging of stroke/cerebrovascular disease and CNS tumors with CT and MRI. I have enjoyed being a part of the WellSpan practice and hope to utilize my expertise to continue to advance our imaging and provide excellent care to our patients.
What I do when I'm not seeing patients:
I enjoy spending time with family and friends, cooking and running.
