Why I chose to pursue a career in medicine:
During high school, I had a very inspiring chemistry teacher who made learning science and experimentation challenging, yet rewarding. I fell in love with the life sciences during this time! I also knew that I wanted to impact the lives of people in a meaningful way that incorporated my passion for science and love of people, and also allowed me to serve in a leadership capacity. These interests ultimately led me to the field of medicine.
What I want my patients to know about me:
I enjoy getting to know each and every one of you. It is a great privilege to be considered your confidante and be able to provide you compassionate care. I see my role to be one of an educated health advisor who is there to provide you with facts about your health, after which we collectively come up with a plan that allows you to live the life you envision for yourself.
What I do when I'm not seeing patients:
My interests include hiking, exploring the local neighborhood, and attending First Fridays of York. I also enjoy trying new recipes, watching NBA, and gardening. In my spare time, I can often be found spending quality time with my family and friends.
