Why I chose to pursue a career in medicine:
I hope to make a difference in patients' lives by partnering with them to find the best ways of preventing long-term health problems.
What I want my patients to know about me:
I tend to run behind in the office because I find it hard to cut my patients off when they need me. This is good and bad. It may mean you have to wait a while to see me, but when it's your turn I will do my best to see that you get the time you need, as well.
What I do when I'm not seeing patients:
I spend most of my time managing my busy household with five wonderful children. I am also very active with my church—St. Joe's in York.
