Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:

There wasn’t a single determinant of why I choose a career in medicine. But at a young age, I knew that I wanted to help others. As a candy stripe nurse, volunteering at the local community hospital, I looked up to the medical professionals and admired how they cared for each patient. It didn’t take me long to realize I wanted more involvement with the patients. I wanted to learn, I wanted to help, and I wanted to make a difference. I made the choice of pursuing a career in medicine, and I never looked back.

What I want my patients to know about me:

Medicine is my passion. I am constantly learning and I strive to improve. As a nurse practitioner, one of my goals is to have a connection with my patients. I want patients to trust me and feel confident that they are receiving the best care.

What I do when I'm not seeing patients:

When I am not seeing patients, I love spending time with my family. I also love to travel, shop, and enjoy watching old TV shows.
