Why I chose to pursue a career in medicine:
I have had a love for women's health, specifically pregnancy and childbirth since a young age. I was a doula for many of my family members and friends, taught childbirth class, and worked as a labor and delivery nurse before pursuing my Master's degree in midwifery. Giving birth to a child is a very precious event in a woman's (and her partner's) life, and I feel it a privilege being part of that journey.
What I want my patients to know about me:
I love every aspect of being a midwife and always hope in some way to positively touch the lives of those in my care.
What I do when I'm not seeing patients:
When not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family and my chocolate lab, Henna. Sewing, embroidery, and swimming are my hobbies— but my very favorite thing is being part of whatever my grandchildren are involved in!
