Why I chose to pursue a career in medicine:
Ever since I can remember I wanted to be a physician to help people. I can not remember ever wanting to do anything else. Now, after 35 years of practice, I can safely say this has been the correct path for me. I cannot envision anything that would have given me more personal satisfaction than helping the many people I have over the years.
What I want my patients to know about me:
I am a family oriented individual who dotes on his 5 grandchildren.
What I do when I'm not seeing patients:
I enjoy bicycle riding and fishing. I took up fly fishing relatively late in life and am trying to master the fundamentals. And, of course, I like spending time with my grandchildren.
