Why I chose to pursue a career in medicine:
I chose a career in medicine after sustaining multiple sports-related injuries in high school. As a patient, I was well cared for by my physicians and became motivated to provide the same care for other athletes and active patients.
What I want my patients to know about me:
I have a special interest in utilizing osteopathic manipulative techniques to aid the body in healing itself. I have experience working with athletes at a variety of levels, including professional, collegiate and club sports. I enjoy working with participants of all the major sports, as well as weekend warriors, dancers, cheerleaders and gymnasts.
What I do when I'm not seeing patients:
I enjoy being active. I continue to participate in recreational sports leagues, half-marathons and outdoor activities. I can also be found regularly spending time with my family.
