Why I chose to pursue a career in medicine:
I have always been attracted to challenges. I can think of no bigger challenge than helping patients deal with their illnesses and promoting healthy lifestyles.
What I want my patients to know about me:
I will often tell my patients that I treat them like I would want my family treated. I also believe that communication is critical and that patients have to be actively involved in the decision-making process. I make it a point to stress preventative medicine.
What I do when I'm not seeing patients:
First and foremost, my wife and I spend time with our family whenever possible. We also enjoy golfing, biking, traveling, and taking walks with our Golden Retriever.
