Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:

I wanted to be in the medical field since I was a little girl. Initially, I was pre-med, and started working as a nursing assistant while in college. As a nurse, I had the opportunity to spend a lot of time with patients and families at the bedside. I knew that I wanted to take on a more involved role as a nurse practitioner. To be at the forefront of a patient's health is a privilege and a lifelong dream fulfilled.

What I want my patients to know about me:

I treat every patient as if they were my own family member. I want patients to know that I genuinely care for them, and that I will always listen to their health issues and concerns. Together, we will formulate the best plan of care to optimize their health.

What I do when I'm not seeing patients:

On my days off, I go to the gym or the park to walk. You might even find me at Target a few times a week too. In the evening I go into mom mode with homework and after school activities. Surrounding myself with friends and family brings true joy to my life so I make it a priority to spend time with those who mean the most to me.
