Why I chose to pursue a career in medicine:
In school I had an aptitude for the sciences and that was certainly the first step in the process. Most likely it was the fact that both my parents had significant illnesses when I was young that influenced me to pursue a career in medicine. And they both lived a very long and healthy life after recovering from those illnesses!
What I want my patients to know about me:
My goal is to make sure that my patients understand their medical problems so they can be an active partner in their care. I take pride in being a good teacher and able to convey confusing and complicated medical issues so that my patients understand ,regardless of their backgrounds.
What I do when I'm not seeing patients:
I live with my husband and three dogs in Lebanon county. I spend free time taking care of our gardens, cooking and visiting Philadelphia as often as possible to see my grown children.
