Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:

I had some meaningful volunteer experiences at a very young age. It was there, that I discovered my passion for social work.

What I want my patients to know about me:

I have 36 years experience working as a social worker, in a variety of settings. My approach has developed into an eclectic style including the use of CBT, Supportive and Family Therapy, Grief Therapy, and Mindfulness. This allows me to meet my patients where they are in their life process and collaboratively choose the therapy style that fits best. As a social worker, I believe in a holistic approach and the right to self-determination.

What I do when I'm not seeing patients:

I enjoy spending time with family and friends, as well as my dogs. Music and nature keep me grounded.
