Why I chose to pursue a career in medicine:
The sciences were always my passion. Prior to beginning my studies in engineering at the University of Pennsylvania, I spent the summer searching for the best use of my talents. After spending time with a local surgeon seeing patients, I concluded a better option would be medicine and therefore started pre-med program in biology at Penn. It sounds trite, but I really did want to help people and thought medicine was best option.
What I want my patients to know about me:
Priority is family and friends. My hobbies include taking college-level courses via DVD including music, fine arts, economics, all branches of science, history, pretty much everything. Playing the piano, exercise, traveling with family and friends keeps me sane.
What I do when I'm not seeing patients:
Besides above, I love watching movies, attending concerts, and following world events.
