Why I chose to pursue a career in medicine:
I chose a career in medicine to further serve my community and have a direct hands-on impact on not only my patients' lives, but their families' lives as well. I have a long family history of medicine, which dates back to the revolutionary war and continues to today's conflicts. My view on treating patients is to think of everyone as my family member and treat them to the level I expect my own family to be treated.
What I want my patients to know about me:
I am new to the Lancaster area, as I grew up in the Montgomery County area, and so far I am really enjoying the new location. Also, I have been in medicine for 12 years now and love every second of it. There have been many changes in the last 12 years and I'm excited to see the evolution of healthcare delivery as well as clinical breakthroughs that help our patients lead healthier, longer and more enjoyable lives.
What I do when I'm not seeing patients:
I am usually spending time with my family and friends. I'm currently a member of the Pennsylvania Army National Guard serving my country and state by providing superior medical care for our troops when at home or abroad when asked.
