Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:

Medicine has been a huge part of my life since I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at 10 years-old. Being a patient myself, I quickly picked up on the good and bad of medical care and was determined to always be the “good” for my patients. I love not only taking care of people, but also having the unique ability to put myself in their shoes.

What I want my patients to know about me:

I approach each patient and situation as a unique case. I strive to make sure each patient I see feels listened to, validated in their concerns, and sure of the care they are receiving.

What I do when I'm not seeing patients:

When not seeing patients, I love spending time with my husband, son, and dog. We enjoy taking walks and visiting the many parks around Central PA. Originally from Pittsburgh, I also take every opportunity I can to cheer on the Pirates, Penguins, and Steelers!
