Why I chose to pursue a career in medicine:
I find the human body absolutely fascinating in how it heals with and without the aid of medicine. As a previous gymnast, I became intrigued with the functions and movement of the human body.
What I want my patients to know about me:
I started my career with an undergraduate degree in athletic training, which is the basis for my love of orthopedics.
What I do when I'm not seeing patients:
I am an avid gym goer and enjoy weight lifting. I have completed two Spartan Sprints. I am working towards a trifecta within the next two years, which ties up a lot of my free time. I also enjoy spending time with my boyfriend and our German Shepherd hiking and fishing. I also compete in rifle competitions with my father on various Sundays.
