Why I chose to pursue a career in medicine:
I chose medicine because it is so complex and dynamic. It involves lifelong learning about the interconnections of the mind, body and spirit and how it impacts us as a whole. I chose family medicine because every family needs a trustworthy relationship with a physician who can navigate, educate and consult the entire family on preventive and acute health decisions.
What I want my patients to know about me:
I am diverse in many ways, patient and understanding. I value relationships.
What I do when I'm not seeing patients:
When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my family hiking and traveling. I am always up for new adventures. I practice yoga and mindful living. I am a "fixer upper" and I enjoy thrift shopping.
