Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:

I wanted to do something in my career that is challenging, interesting and makes a difference in people's lives on a daily basis. I am a general surgeon specializing in trauma surgery, emergency surgery and critical care. I think it is the most exciting field of medicine. I care for a variety of patients that may come to the hospital. Having the opportunity to see rapid improvement in my patients is very gratifying. I cannot see myself doing anything else in medicine.

What I want my patients to know about me:

When you are under my care, I think about how you are doing constantly. Your health and safety keep me up at night, and I will do everything within my means to help you. I am always willing to go the extra mile to help anyone in anyway I can.
