Why I chose to pursue a career in medicine:
Both my grandmothers were caregivers for people in their homes. I remember hearing their stories and decided I wanted to help people. I found the body and mind fascinating as well. Therefore, my education was spent learning all I could about them, and this led me to nursing.
What I want my patients to know about me:
Most of my nursing care has been centered around caring for women at their different stages of life. Personally, I have worked through many issues with my parents and in-laws as they aged. These experiences, which I draw from, enriched my career to also help my patients.
What I do when I'm not seeing patients:
When I'm not seeing patients, I dabble in photography, gardening, and piano. But, my favorite activity is spending time with my beloved dogs!
