Why I chose to pursue a career in medicine:
I have always been fascinated by the human body and how we all have similar structural building blocks. The fascinating part to me is, even though we are all built so similarly, we are all so different!
What I want my patients to know about me:
I have been a nurse for over 10 years and feel blessed to have had the privilege to interact with people at their healthiest moments in life and at their most vulnerable and difficult times, as well. I have thoroughly enjoyed caring for a well baby with a mild cold in the hospital, an individual after a heart attack, a new mom who just experienced birth, a young adult after a traumatic injury, as well as for the family members who were at their side and needed extra care, as well. I'm fluent in Spanish. Hablo, escribo, y leo Español
What I do when I'm not seeing patients:
I spend time with my family. We love watching movies, trying different cultural meals, dancing, and outdoor activities. For the most part, though, we do homework, study for tests, and just get through the day.
