Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:

My Mom was an ER nurse when I was in high school and she introduced me to some of the physician assistants she worked with at Sacred Heart Hospital in Allentown. I was able to “shadow” them and was very impressed with the work that they did and how much they cared for their patients. That lead me to want to pursue a career as a physician assistant.

What I want my patients to know about me:

I have been working as a surgical physician assistant for the past 14 years and have been working in robotic surgery for the past 6 years. I am passionate about robotic surgery and the advancements that it enables our surgeons to accomplish with great outcomes for our patients. I truly believe that robotic surgery is the future of laparoscopic surgery and I am excited to be able to be a part of our amazing robotic team!

What I do when I'm not seeing patients:

I enjoy running and playing soccer in my spare time. I also enjoy watching my three children in their activities whether it is soccer, baseball, dance or swimming.
